Some access roads are bad in the rainy season

The roads going to Bwindi are marum roads in the corners and thick dense forest of Bwindi. It takes you about 60 kilometers off the road to the first office of Uganda wild life. These roads can decide to be very terrible most especially in the rain season.

Going to Bwindi to do gorilla tracking I recommend getting a car rental company to help you with the best cars that suite these roads like 4×4 safari jeeps. They are good on the very bad terrain of kisoro.

Gorilla permit in Uganda for just a hour of gorilla trekking is$700 per persons above 18 years of age. Gorilla habituation will go up to $1500 for four hours. This not only being expensive the their is very much limited availability it is a first come first serve basis

A gorilla permit can be paid and reserved up to 2 years. Meaning you can reserve a permit and you wait and plan for the next two years to come. This if of an added advantage, that someone can save some money here.
