Gorilla trekking

Gorilla trekking in Rushaga takes you on exploration of habituated groups such as Nshongi, Rwigyi, Kutu, Mucunguzi, Kahungye, Busingye, and others. A normal trek with Rushaga gorillas takes between 2 and 6 hours which include 1 hour for up close and personal encounter. You can have a chance to participate in the trek with the Rushaga gorillas if you have a valid permit each costing USD 800 per person.

Birding

Birding in the Rushaga marks the start of your journey to explore the different birds in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi is most popular for its over 350 species of birds which include the Albertine Rift endemic species and forest species.
